RFC هو مصطلح في معايير الإنترنت في IETF يشرح a Request for Comments document that records an internet standard, best current practice, informational note, or related technical specification. يساعد البشر والوكلاء على تسمية الإشارة والمصدر والخطوة الآمنة التالية من دون الادعاء بأن الأتمتة أو الحملة أو DNS أو RFC أو مسار الشبكة فعل أكثر مما تثبته الأدلة. المصدر: IETF DNS technology; IETF Areas; RFC 1918 private address space.
