[/ˈbreɪnrɒt/]
Definitions
The mental state resulting from excessive consumption of low-quality, repetitive, or extremely niche internet content — particularly short-form video. Someone with brainrot has been so thoroughly marinated in online memes and references that their humor, speech, and thinking reflect it constantly. Can be self-deprecating or affectionate.
