Subdomain

A subdomain is a subordinate portion of a domain name created by adding a prefix to the primary domain. Subdomains are represented as distinct nodes in the network graph and often map to specific applications or services within PlatPhorm. According to RFC 1034, a subdomain label precedes the domain in the DNS hierarchy.
