Socratic Irony

Une stratégie rhétorique où un orateur feigne l'ignorance ou joue l'idiot pour exposer les défauts logiques, les contradictions ou l'ignorance d'un adversaire. En adoptant une posture de fausse humilité, l'orateur encourage les autres à partager leurs idées, les conduisant finalement à découvrir leurs propres malentendus.

A rhetorical strategy where a speaker feigns ignorance or plays dumb to expose the logical flaws, contradictions, or ignorance of an opponent. By adopting a posture of false humility, the speaker encourages others to share their ideas, ultimately leading them to discover their own misunderstandings.
