Learned helplessness

L'impuissance apprise est le comportement exposé par un sujet après avoir subi des stimuli aversifs répétés échappant à leur contrôle. Chez les humains, l'impuissance apprise est liée au concept de l'auto-efficacité, la croyance de l'individu dans sa capacité innée à atteindre des objectifs.

Learned helplessness is the behavior exhibited by a subject after enduring repeated aversive stimuli beyond their control. In humans, learned helplessness is related to the concept of self-efficacy, the individual's belief in their innate ability to achieve goals.
