Learned helplessness

La impotencia aprendida es el comportamiento expuesto por un sujeto después de soportar repetidos estímulos aversivos más allá de su control. En los seres humanos, la falta de ayuda aprendida está relacionada con el concepto de autoeficacia, la creencia del individuo en su capacidad innata para alcanzar metas.

Learned helplessness is the behavior exhibited by a subject after enduring repeated aversive stimuli beyond their control. In humans, learned helplessness is related to the concept of self-efficacy, the individual's belief in their innate ability to achieve goals.
